Minnie Pearl Pickle age 82 of Beaverton, AL passed away Friday, July 14, 2017 at the Generations of Vernon, AL.

Born July 26, 1934 in Lamar County, AL she is the daughter of the late John Thomas (Tom) and Earlie Maybelle South Taylor.Minnie was a member of the Beaverton Methodist Church for over 65 years and was she was the Church Secretary for many years. She cooked many meals for families in need with the death of a loved ones or sickness in there family. She loved gardening, flowers, Alabama football and caring for her family.

Survived by three sons: Freddie (Donna) Pickle of Sulligent, AL, Ben (Eva) Pickle and Eddie Pickle all of Beaverton, AL, seven grandchildren: Brittany Wade-Sawrie, Billy Pickle,Jason Pickle, Coy Pickle, La Shae Rich, Leslie Flynn and Jennifer Saraco, seven great grandchildren: Nathan Rich, Ally Rich, Aubree Flynn,Brody Flynn, Breanna Sawrie , Dillan Pickle and Preston Saraco and a host of step grandchilren.

She was preceded in death by her parents: John Thomas and Earlie Maybelle South Taylor, her husband: James Greely Pickle, two sons: James Anthony Pickle and Terry Lee Pickle.

Services held on Monday, July 17, 2017 at 2:00 PM from the Beaverton Methodist Church with burial in the Beaverton Cemetery. Her body will lie in state from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the church just prior to the service time.

Visitation: Sunday, July 16, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
